This year Steve and I had the opportunity to meet two incredible and professional people to get us on the right track for our planning if something should happen to us. We cannot thank you both enough for all you taught us through this process! You were both very understanding. When it came to making what we thought was the hardest decision, our children, both of you gave us the information necessary for us to make what we now feel is the best decision for them! Some of the things you talked about with us to think through with our possessions and finances were above and beyond what we could think of.
Both of us have recommended the services your office provided to us to many others. We immediately felt at ease and very comfortable working with you and know others would feel the same if they came into your office trying to accomplish the same tasks. It has been an honor for us to work with you and know if we have any questions you will be there to answer them. I know I am just rambling, but thank you for helping us to end our year feeling secure with the decision we have made! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
First I want to thank you for your kindness in all our discussions and transactions. Making arrangements for the unknown of life is overwhelming, and you made the process for me seem less so. I am grateful more than I can say.
Next, thank you for the details of the changes needed for the Indiana property. I have put this on the list of further actions needed. If I have questions I thank you for your offer of help.
Finally, thank you so much for the referrals of Indiana attorney's. Finding the right person to help is perhaps the hardest part of the process and I appreciate your help in this too.
Working with Judith Schening was a wonderfully positive experience. She walked me through the process of creating an estate plan. At the age of 62, I had nothing. She made me feel comfortable with decisions about my trust, will, and powers of attorney for health care and property. Now, I had to think about the answers to these important questions. Judith spent time with me explaining what we were creating and how it differed from my parents' estate documents. Her knowledge of current requirements for these documents was invaluable. She proved to be my best support system ever. It really is a wonderful feeling to have these plans completed.
Judith Schening was highly recommended to me by my accountant. She has been wonderful through the whole process of setting up my entire estate planning and trust documents as well as my living will. Her attention to detail is amazing, as is her willingness to reach out to other lawyers for various opinions for specific cases. She is always prepared, returns phone calls promptly, and is very very thorough with document preparation. She reaches beyond her duties to make sure you have a full understanding of each and every document as well as the implications of each decision you make. She is also a very nice, hard-working, honest, and likable person--a rare find indeed!
If instead of a pot of gold at the end of the proverbial rainbow a person was, it would be Judith Schening. Judith is an extremely personable and bright young lady. She’s constantly reading and reviewing the many many rules and regulations here in Illinois. An estate plan can be quite simple to extremely complex. Mine was complex and Judith came up with many solutions due to her vast knowledge in this field.
My estate plan covered my trust, my will, power of attorney, trustees and many other items. Judith’s perfectionism is shown with the hard covered binder she presents you; mine contained 15 subtitles and over 150 pages of documents. There is also a CD with everything copied on it.
Your estate plan is probably the most important document you’ll need to have prepared properly. Judith Schening is the person I would highly recommend to you.
